HI
I have a lancia 79 beta Spyder.

Wanted rto confirm - are these cars meant to have one or two fog lamps on the back?

Also, I assume that they are earlthed through the bumper mounting brackets?

Thanks

Simon

Simon,

They were retro fitted to my 78 Spider.

They're not a legal requirement for cars registered / used before 01/04/80 (assuming you're in the UK) so you can either have them or not.

The UK dealers or importers fitted them from about mid 1979, in readiness for the legal requirement. They always fitted two under the bumper slightly closer together than the later cars that had them fitted at Chivasso. The official dealer/importer installations used the correct dashboard switch. If your car has an after-market switch fitted that will give you a clue as to what happened with your car.
