I'm planning on going for the 10th June, I'll travel down the afternoon before and collect a door on the way there or the way back.

If you're going to be there I can bring the steering rack inner wing boots with me Peter?

Will also aim for the 10th, with a shopping list and a notebook to write down how bits go together

Hi Guy

I will shoot for the 10th and catch up with you beforehand to sort out any parts I have which you can use.

Same goes yours for anyone else I happen to have promised parts to….!

That's great Peter, Can we avoid Wednesday 17th May - Tim is planning on coming across to see progress on the Coupe!

And if anyone else want to drop in that day too the kettle will be hot!

Hi all, I had an email from Mark to say the June 10th meet was cancelled and his website also says that now.

We have had further emails to and fro and Mark says he will be there on the 10th! I know I'm not the only one going down and not the only one with a hotel booking for the Friday night!

Peter is also going and I believe Clifford will be there too, hopefully more of us!

Hi All

Just exchanged texts with Mark who is away and he thought no one was going on the 10th bar Guy, so cancelled. Having mentioned a few more were planning to go, this is now reversed, but may not show it on the website as he is away currently. So if you planned to go, it is still on.

Also in case you were waiting like me, he has finally got the bonnet liners back in stock after many many months.

Pheww, I'm glad it's still on!

I'm going down in the HPE and also have a room booked in Chard for
the Friday night.
Hope to see lots of you there.

Hi guys. I was considering 10th but have recently decided it would be difficult to make that date and so now have to check my diary against the other dates.

Long day, left home at 11am, got to Drews at 4.45 (ahead of schedule) and now at the overnight stop in Dowlish Wake, The New Inn, ready for a 30 minute drive in the morning. Assuming the beer doesn’t make me oversleep…..

Looking forward to tomorrow even if my credit card is quaking in terror!

What a superb day, met faces to put names to, picked up a load of the parts from Mark with more to come and even got a screen surround from a scrap VX Coupe. Happy happy days!

Thanks for the hospitality Mark!

Did anyone get a picture of the surgery whilst we were dodging the rain showers? Or the state of the poor VX Coupe after we were done?

Peter

That was a great weekend. I did, indeed, have a good drive down. An initial bonus was a stop
near Crewkerne for a cuppa with a cousin I hadn't seen for a while. The overnight in Chard was comfortable
and the Wetherspoon acceptable. really good to meet Guy and Kevin, and to see the others as well.
Spent some money, that's why we all went, hey?
And then another great drive back, stopping in Surrey this time for another overnight
to see my daughter and family.
Thanks for putting this on Mark.

Nigel

Oh, and Mark took a pic of the end result of Guy's hatchet job on the VX.
