For those not able to go to the show, this YouTube video at 59:48 gives a quick view of the LMC and Betaboyz stands.

Sorry for the delay in posting  Embarrassed

Another very successful NEC show  Smiley
Special thanks to Richard (HPE) Dan & Darcie (Spider) Andy and Mark W for taking it (S3 Saloon) and Kevin (Alitalia Coupe)
For showing your amazing cars, also to everyone that helped out on the stand over the 4 days.

Also to everyone who came over and said hello, was good to put more faces to names  Smiley
Last but not least, thanks to Caroline (Mark Smiths Wife) for the cakes, which she unfortunately drove over, long story Smiley but they tasted great  Grin

As always I took a few pics, here's a small selection.
More of the Italian clubs can be seen on my Flickr page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/tonysphotos/albums/72177720312700946

Thanks Tony.

I need to clarify that it was me who put my rucksack where it would be driven over without telling Caroline!

Great pics as ever.

It's great to see a couple of cars with similar number plates together, I wonder if the sequence from 110 to 150 was all Beta and if any others survive?

Hi Guy

They both still have Chequered Flag stickers in the rear window, so from same Lancia dealer.

It shows how 2 cars from the same few months of registration
can have very different outcomes 40 years later. Saying that, I don't know
if the HPE has been restored at all.

In my, albeit limited, knowledge of reg allocations, 'blocks' of numbers were
issued to various dealers in an area. So it would be unsurprising to find
a CLT on another make locally. Blocks of 20 were common in my days in Kent.

I remember, back in Johannesburg in the mid 80's, seeing 2 Datsun Pulsars
parked on the same street with consecutive plates, both being some 10 years old! One of them
was ours.

I checked out the registration sequence around my Beta Coupe and there were about 40 (if my memory is right) registered with the odd Alfa thrown in. Of those there is another Coupe and a Monte Carlo still extant and taxed.

At 10 years old I owned an HPE (that I'd had for 4 years by then) when I bought a donor Coupe for the Stratos replica with the next number plate to the HPE....
