Looking to drill out and replace the loose shear bolts that are holding together the ignition lock
Shear bolts are readily available but does anyone know what the replacement size should be?
I vaguely remember something like 5 or 6mm x 15 or 20 mm?
Any ideas?
Cheers

Hi MM,
They are 8mmx23mm thread, contact shoulder to end.
Slightly longer [25/26mm] would also be fine.

Actually, if they are already loose, drilling shouldn't be needed.
A light tap with a centre-punch will probably move them. Once
one is loose, the other comes loose.

For renewal, consider Allen headed cap bolts.

Hope this helps
