While I didn't take too many photos at the 50th, I did break my journey down (first time out for me or the car for quite a while) at an old mate's house Nr Cheltenham.

As you will see, he has done rather better than me, but I have always wanted to photograph the car next to the house since he finished it 8 or nine years ago.

With the car not too dirty despite the rain on the way down, we gave it a go.

Nice shots Mark,

It's inspired me to get a few nice shots of the HPE against contemporary Architecture.
something I've always wanted to do.

With the crisp Beta lines, I think they could be contemporaries if you didn't know the car was 50 years old.

The second one really works - angular building and slightly boxy couple but both stylish and well matched.
