I just would like to say hello and introduce myself. I am Adrian and I come from Cracow, Poland. I love Italian cars, and I just purchased an opened project for Lancia Beta.
The car is disassembled, but it is a good project as many of the parts have been totally restored, starting from the chassis. The engine is in one piece and next week is going to be fully renovated. The rest should be put together hopefully by May.
The car has nice brown colour and I believe it is going to be a great runner.
I am glad to be here and hope to help in building a Beta society!

High Adrian

Welcome to the forum and that looks like a pretty solid point to start from.

Hi Adrian,

Fantastic looking Coupe, I agree, Amaranth/Brown looks good when clean/polished, but less good when dirty which in my experience is the minute the car is driven, also when my coupe was that colour it was hit/driven into about once a year!!!

I got bored and painted it 'slightly ORANGE' myself... my good friend Jarek assures me drivers in Poland are more capable than us hopeless Brit's!

Good luck & enjoy the build.

Tim.

Thanks Tim! I am really happy with this project, and hope that Lancia will be back on road around the middle of next year.
The colour is nice, one of my favourite from the Lancia range, although I totally agree that it will get dusty very quickly  Wink
As I have visited the UK and Ireland several times, I can ensure you that drivers in here drive much more dangerous than in the UK  Wink

Anyway, the works have started- the engine is now under renovation, and should be better than new.
Here are some pictures, a very initial stage.

Hello!
The project is taking longer than expected 😅
The garage has other projects they finish now, so works with Beta go bit slow.
There are some improvements, and I would like to share it with you

1. The engine is done (completely renovated )
2. Carburetor renovated
3. New front windshield
4. Renovated tank
5. New cooler

In general, engine should be in car next week 💪😀

Czesc’ Adrian!  Those are looking good - it can be frustrating waiting for a garage to finish your project, I am too impatient, so am learning to do the work myself!
Good luck with your project.  Cool
