Amongst many other things, the bulkhead has to be modified to accommodate the pas steering box which then interferes with the clutch/brake assembly. You will also need to use the mounting bracket to fix the rack.
I converted my Beta Spider to PAS from a VX Coupe. To do so not only did I need the rack, pump reservoir, hubs and steering column all of which are different. I also needed the late pedal box assembly AND the Firewall from the VX coupe transferred to my Beta Spyder.
The rack mounts are different and so are the holes and recesses in the VX Coupe Firewall. If you look through my posts in members cars you can see pictures of the PAS rack in the engine bay.
I do not know if it is easier in LHD, but suspect more welding is needed than just transferring the brackets and rack mountings.

Thank you for your answers Ammy and Eric. I knew of all the differences regarding steering arms, track rods, hubs, etcetera, but I wasn't aware that the bulkhead and the steering column also need to be changed. My own Spider has been converted from manual to PAS in it's life, but it has been done by the previous owner and I always thought it had involved some work but was pretty straight forward. Not sure if the pedal box would have to be changed on a LHD car though.
But anyway, the guy is gonna leave it as it is then I think
