Does anyone know which tool I need to remove the nut in top of the strut that hold in the insert?
And where I can get one.
Mark

--------------------------------------------------

1 Clamp the strut
2 spray internal nut with WD40 (to aid loosening)
3 use cold chisel and hammer on the lugs of the nut to loosen (It destroys the nut)
It will eventualluy come loose.
4 the new strut insert should have a replacement nut (Macpherson does)

You need 88031008 as per thge factory tools manual.

I had one made for about GBP20.
