I can confirm that John Richard offers a very good service, albeit old school!
I asked for an ign and door key on supplied numbers and got back 2 plastic-headed keys that
work perfectly,all for under £15.
I hope he's teaching his younger staff to operate that machine!

Further to the conundrum which is the glovebox lock, here is a closeup of the channel in the inner barrel, any ideas why it is there and how it originally should work?

In the absence of any further reason for the channel, I decided to press on and filled it with Metal Epoxy and filed it smooth. Then reassembled and tested. All pretty much as wanted, except the locating pin for the inner barrel allows a bit of lateral meow mental which can make the key difficult to extract. The solution is to pull on the key whilst putting pressure on the inner barrel to stop it moving outward. As I will seldom use this lock, that is satisfactory for me.
