Hi All

Just looking at the parts book and confused by exactly what should be there.

The manifold to down pipe also has a plate which attaches the exhaust shield, but in the parts book it is unclear if I use one or two gaskets and if one is different to the other. I have some of the metalised gaskets and think I have a more fibre based one. So can anyone confirm what gaskets I should use?

Thanks

Peter

Just one gasket plus the heat shield in the ones I have changed (1300 and 2000).

Hi Neil

I assume then the order is manifold/heat shield plate/gasket/down pipe, looking at the exploded parts diagram?

Just seems a little odd having the metal of the manifold mating to the metal of the shield plate, I may put some exhaust sealer between the two.

Yes, that's the order I've replaced them in.
