Hi all. I was going to fit the clutch today, and then join the gearbox back to the engine in an attempt to progress the rebuild. However - the clutch pressure plate doesn't seem to have a balance mark on it - as mentioned in the manual. The flywheel has a clean patch that I assume used to be a painted stripe, and from what I can see, the old plate (which has a yellow line painted on) was around 180 degrees offset from the 'clean' mark on the f/w.
So - there are a few green painted blobs on the new plate, but this isn't something the manual references. Anyone come up against this type of issue before?

Cheers,
Justin.

Okay - so I went ahead and fitted this pressure plate today. There were 2 green paint marks, neither of which seemed to line up very well at 180 away from my f/w white paint mark, so I have split the difference. I think that this is the best I can do.
