Hi All

I thought it would be interesting/fun to have a map location of the forum members, hopefully most have little to hide, your choice as how accurately you place them.....!

To add your location go to

Nice idea. No clue as to how you add a flag though. Doesn't seem to respond to likely passwords.

Done - although this is more an indication of where I live, not where the Beta is...   Grin

Sorry another computer numbskull, should have asked my 3 year old granddaughter. I didn't realise you could put in a post code, so the map has decided I live in St Ives Road, Somersham, when in fact I'm about a mile away in East Street, Colne. Don't know how to change it. My post code is PE28 3LZ if one of you techies can correct it id be most grateful!!

As long as it's accurate to the nearest half a mile or so I wouldn't really worry. I'm not entirely sure I want to give out my precise location to any non-member who happens to read this thread. (Or is this sectiuon of the forum members-only?)

Needs to be members only, also I think members beyond a certain seniority level. Sadly can't be too careful those days lots of classic theft going on!

The map is actually a third party open application, so is available to anyone regardless of how I setup the forum thread.

Perhaps we could agree how we list ourselves and try to keep it consistent without compromise our exact location.

I would start the ball rolling by maybe suggesting putting your forum name and maybe your actual name, but leave off any address info?

Once agreed I should be able to modify the existing ones to comply with it.

Hi All

I have changed the marker status, so you can move or delete the marker. I can also setup a password to limit the map to add entries only if they know this password, but seems a bit too draconian to me.

Let me know what you think as currently anyone can get in there and move the locations around?
