Welcome

My mate has a South African RS2000 - almost rust free due to climate. Is your Beta free of the dreaded tin worm?

Found this pic of the car before I started reconditioning.
The car is now stripped and the body is being repaired.

No it was resprayed by the previous owner. The original color looks to be a red/maroon.

Do you perhaps have some engine spares for a 2.0 lying around?

holmesgr001 / HEINESPORT - John van Rensburg here.

I was born in Johannesburg (grew up on a farm in Kromdraai - near Krugersdorp), and lived in Pretoria before moving to the united States in 1989! I now live in Seattle, Washington and own some Alfa Romeos and an '81 Lancia Beta - Zagato Spyder!

Hi John, I'm in roodepoort so not from from where you grew up. Owning a small Italian sports car in the land  of big V8's must be interesting
