Be careful with the airbag cover, it is designed to split apart upon deployment and the original badges fitted are made from very thin alloy which is extremely light. Best option is to change the whole unit or if you buy a second hand bag maybe just transfer over the cover retaining the original bag and gas generator unit it's not difficult to do.

No, not touching the airbag. I think some owners have found stickers that cover the airbag badge. Re-badging wasn't even on the agenda until I 'found' the grille badge.

Changing the airbag is dead easy, if you try to cover the badging make sure you don't interfere with the functionality of the bag cover I have a pic of the inside somewhere I'll try to find it and post it so you can see where the spilt lines are.

This is Lancia version on the Chrysler one because the badge is thinner the central split goes up higher.
