I'm trying to source an exhaust cam gear for my '77 Beta HPE with an 1800. I've read that the aux shaft pulley is the same part number. It appears that one of the previous owners chipped off the outer lip to, I think, make the timing belt easier to slip on-tacky. It's ragged and looks bad, I dont like it. I'd rather have an unmolested one since I'm removing them anyway to replace all the seals. I'm also trying to source a bellhousing lower cover and a lower passenger side splash inner front fender cover. I've tried Midwest Bayless here in the states, but it seems that they dont respond to emails for some reason, but they're reliable other than that. If anyone on the list has any of these parts, let me know.
Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike
On the Cam wheel, is it a metal or plastic one?
On the bell housing can you show a picture of what you are after?
Also on the fender part, need to translate for me into Uk terms, can you explain more?
Thanks
Peter

I think Mike is asking for a metal sheet made cover/shield of a flywheel and a wheel arch liner.

The Cam wheel is steel. Also, as per lukasdeopalencia said, lower flywheel cover, but the cover I'm looking for is the one that bolts to the underside of the wheel arch that protects the engine/belts.

Peter,
I stand corrected on the cam wheel. After removing the cam boxes and then the cam wheels, the cam wheels are plastic bonded to a steel center with the number 828-S on the exhaust wheel.

Hi
Still a little confused about the two cover items, sorry....
On the flywheel is there an inspection cover or similar which is missing?
On the splash cover, do you mean the removable part of the inner wing near the cam belt, or the wing plastic liner?
Again sorry for being a bit dim on this...
I have the cam pulley.
Peter

Peter,
Yes, it's a flywheel inspection cover. The one that attaches to the lower part of the bellhousing behind the oil pan. The other is the lower splash cover is the one that covers the lower wheel well and usually has a hole so you can see the timing marks on the timing cover. It attaches to the subframe and to the inner wheel arch. How much do you want for the cam pulley?
Thanks, Mike

It is a two part wheel arch liner (front and rear) with elongated section under cam gear. That is the only difference compared to the LH side liner.

Hi Lukas So are we talking about the plastic wheel arch liner or the metal plate which attaches to the inner wings on the timing belt side? I have various plastic liners. Peter
