Noticed when out on run yesterday - rapid flashing when left indicators applied - subsequently discovered that all n/s front lighting has stopped working.  Sidelight, Main/Dipped front and side flashers.   Rear all OK and all O/S OK.    Will investigate later but suspecting a common earth problem?   Any clues before I waste time hunting down the problem .....Huh?

Almost certainly earthing issues, unless there is a break in the loom feeding that area? Is there a connector for that part that could have rusted etc.?

Thanks Neil,

Found and fixed the problem last night.  Initially checked main earthing connector point on inner body just below headlights - all fine.  Traced wiring back to fuse box only to discover that n/s end connector block into fuse box was not fully engaged. Think I must have disturbed this a few weeks ago when I removed the (corroded) exhaust manifold shield.

For once an electrical issue with a quick and painless remedy!

That's a relief for all. Well done. I could see us dismantling the car this weekend in the Peaks!

It's so nice when it's simple.
