Door trim

Hi there,

Anyone know if possible to source external chrome door trim with rubber and felt for window ?

We have two of driver side but both have come apart where the two chrome strips were originally spot welded (have been badly glued together) and the rubber & felt pretty much useless

Passenger side seems OK and putting it down to less wear and probably also ppl don't hang arm out passenger window while driving

Any assistance and or suggestions would be appreciated

I've been looking for an intact one of these for a couple of years now, so, hen's teeth.

If you are any good at delicate spot welding, there is a thread on here of how to fix them by an American guy IIRC.

Still searching for one of these external door extrrnal weatherstrip chrome for right hand door. Anyone have suggestions ??

Still looking here too. If you can't do the fix suggested above I think you will just have to sit this one out like me Don and live without the strip.

The door bottom gets water in it every time it rains, but as long as the drain holes are good, it isn't a major problem.
