Hello BetaBoys and Betagirls
I bought my lancia in 1986, seven years old then , and used it for years as a daily driver.
It is a lancia HPE 2000IE 1979. Technically, it never let me down, not even in minus 30 celcius, on rainy hollidays in wales and lakedistrict or under the sun in Malta. Yes nearly every year we take her for the holliday. Winters are for service and a bit of restauration. for example this winter brake rebuild and gear change rubbers. Last year all the rubbers from the rear axle and a new exchaust. Of course, as every Lancia I had some welding to do, but not as extreme as I see on the forum with other folks.
But you, restauration Betaboys, don't worry. If you do it the right way, you will be rewarded with a lot of driving fun with your Betagirl.
sorry that I didnot insert a picture, but if someone tells me how to do that, they will follow.
Leo from Holland.

Hello and welcome Leo, Please attach your beta's picture I also have an HPE ie. However if your beta is in factory configuration it should be at least from 1981, because then they started production of injected betas.
