1979 Beta Coupe

« on: November 17, 2015, 12:34:59 AM »

Anyone have a source for rear rotors, for my 1979 Coupe?  Front ones, easy to find.

I am in the USA and any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Neil, page says no availability at present.

This guy appears to have the correct EBC part DO68, but guess they need to be asked for sure

Funny, they were showing as in stock when I first looked.

Forgive my ignorance but what is the difference between front and back? I have some new rotors in the garage and just assumed they were the same both ends so I ought to find out what I have actually got.

From memory the rears are thinner than the fronts, but do look very similar.

They look similar but have different thickness and offset.

I have a set of new EBC rears if you want some dimensions to help in sorting through what you have?

I had thought of just seeing if there were any differences in the ones I have but knowing my luck they would be two different specs of front disc. Some dimensions for rear ones would be handy if you don't mind.

Both rears and fronts have 251mm in diameter. Rears have ca. 9mm thickness, whereas fronts have ca. 11mm.
Do not mislead with montecarlo rotors, they are also 251mm, but does not fit. They differ e.g. in lack of a rim centering flange.
