bonnet is correct, grille and headlight surrounds are wrong.
I am presuming it is supposed to be series 1? what engine size is it and is it series 1 (AC) or 2 (BC)?

It's a 1800

Not sure if it's a AC and BC, the car is not in my possession, yet.

cheers, Robert

1800 will be series 1 (AC) the grille should be the geometric chrome effect design with chrome effect headlight surrounds

Grille should be like mine I think, even though mine is an early S2, as they used up the older shells and trim.

Correct bonnet/hood wrong grille and headlight surrounds as Rossocorsa says. I had the grey coloured grille originally on my 1975 coupe, but it broke and could never find another,.

The grille you have is a series 2 one.

I think Robert is still thinking about buying it, and probably put of by the growing list of snags?

That's right. The hood needs to be replaced because of all the rust. Since I would like to have an original car I want to know what else needs to be replaced.

Hi Robert

so you are now faced with finding a decent S1 hood and grill which in the UK are hard work to find, no idea in Europe how easy. The light surrounds are readily available or you can just paint the black ones.

Hi Stuart

Nice one, cannot believe there are too many around. I would imagine there are many more of the later versions around. I have two in my spares box as an example.
