Hi All

I would welcome some feed back on exhaust systems for a 2.0 L spyder. My centre box is very poor with the back silencer not great. I appreciate that stainless are available from Beta Boyz but are there any other alternatives.

Best wishes

Hi Tim

No personal recommendation at present, but elsewhere praise for the Betaboyz one in terms of quality. There are some guys on Ebay selling the middle and back boxes, but not heard of anyone who has purchased, so no idea if decent quality. Also seen some guys in Italy selling new parts on subito etc, again no idea on quality and shipping is not cheap of course.

stainless should be fine but you need to make sure they use similar gauge to original and a high corrosion resistant grade(some makers skimp on gauge as stainless doesn't corrode so fast but it can lead to nasty resonance) the second issue is that it needs to be well packed with good quality internal wadding as cheap or insufficient material will again lead to issues after a while.
