Does anyone have a decent picture or drawing of a late ie type oil filter and alternator mounting block?

A copy of the page from the parts book would be ideal - mines too early to show it.

Thanks

Not sure if these show what you want? One is for volumex, the other for other variations

Alan,

Exactly what I wanted - thanks. The second one (without the VX bits) is what I needed to see.

The next question that comes to mind is where does the alternator mount on versions with power steering and/or aircon? It doesn't appear to have a home on the oil filter mounting block.

Stuart

There is a steel bracket that bolts on to the Aluminium Oil Block that holds the Alternator and Power Steering. I used the IE Oil block as a base to build my custom mounts for the Volumetrico conversion as yo can build off a flat plat with 4 holes in it.
