On the Spiders there is a molded rubber strip that runs under the door between the inside of the wheel arches.
Can someone with a Spider tell me what the length of these are please?
Thanks in advance.
Out of curiosity, how are they secured to the car?

Just seen your question, am not at car at moment do you still need the length of these? Iirc mine had the chrome metal strip pop riveted to the body then the rubber insert is attached to that by sliding it in.

The total length of the rubber strip is 1680mm the chrome strip is 1615mm. Photographs show my Spyder but cannot remember whether holding screw is one of my " mods" 23 years is a long time ! ! !

Hi Matt/Ammy
Sorry Matt completely forgot to do this, will take photos and confirm lengths. Mine should be original even though refitted by bodywork guys.

Many thanks, I have a pair but one is slightly shorter....by 1cm.
Think they can be stretched a wee bit.

Matt,
They shrink while they are on the car. They don't stretch too well but you can glue them together with normal superglue and form a close to invisible join.
I've a few spares and no two are the same length!

Hi Matt
I agree with Ammy, 161.5 (or just a smudge under that) for the strip in the metal carrier, I measured each side and on one side the plastic is approx .5 short which leaves a gap, but not a big deal it has to be said.
If you need any photos (which will look like Ammy's above) let me know.

That's great, many thanks everyone for all your input.
I did wonder if Lancia had a bloke sat there cutting these strips to length..... After a lunchtime vino or two they may have varied a little more!

Very possibly though it would have to have been two blokes as there are two different profiles
