Dvla shows your old beta was last  taxed in 1990 so it's unlikely but not impossible that it is still around, hope you enjoy the 'new' one I always thought the injection was the best all round engine of them all. What needs doing to it? Also post some pictures!

hi rossa thx ,i,m sure some of my old beta parts  are  out there somewhere helping out . as for beta i.e , after aquiring it ,i took it for a drive and i needed a fuel pump (no biggee for someone mechanically minded , which i,m not)but i did fit it and had a little dance around garage when it started and run nicely . i have a very good mechanic friend who i asked to check it over . he has entrusted me to find - nearside front lower wishbone -front brake calipur repair kits (which biggred cant source full kits anymore )-offside engine mounts and engine stabiliser shock . needs full exhaust but he will custom make that himself ,eager to get out there now though

eBay is a good hunting ground I've found most of the rare bits on there over an admittedly extended period, engine mounts seem to be around at the moment but the little dampers are impossible new but if you check back on the forum Matt found some suitable replacements which you could source. Is the body all sound? In particular the rear strut towers/ boot floor and sill extremities, if so it should be plain sailing.

Welcome to the forum Darren, have a look at the board "Keeping your Beta on the Road" there are lists of alternative parts there.  Engine mounts however are scarce items. But most of us members on here have garages with all sorts of Beta related treasures, so it's always worth asking!  Lukasz had some Beta front brake kits, not sure if has has any left.

Good luck, I'm sure your car will be in fine fettle in no time.
