Hi all, has anyone thought about this for 2014?  My thought is that it should be a one day thing.

I thought the suggestion was to go to France this year so it would mean an extended weekend.

I think I'm going to the Le Mans Classic, (2 hour drive from home) possibly in my friends Montecarlo as I'll be storing it for him for a while.  He's driving it up from Italy and we'll take in the Classic while he's here.

I will definitely be at the Classic in my Spyder (have been every year since it started and this will be the second run down for the Lancia)

Have you booked yet?

Not sure if I will go this year as we've been to the last 3, camping at Maison Blanche.

In two minds whether to go. Are you camping at the circuit?

I for one would love to attend. Only the tyranny of distance prevents it. We should organise an Australian meet for all our Aussie members. Anyone in Aus up for a get together?.

Nah - too old for that sort of nonsense now.

We camp about 15mins away from the circuit and get a minibus in and out.  Means we can all have a beer and go back to a hot shower, swimming pool, bar and decent restaurant Smiley

It's a shame that Betameeta was let to fizzle away this year. I fear that if the momentum is lost, which apears to be, we won't get it back. So how about a last minute plea to get something organised for 2014?

Why not just pick a pub in the middle of England and a date - doesn't need to be anything clever

Agreed, nothing elaborate needed.

I am not sure how many people like me only tax their Beta until end of September though, so time may be running out.

How about http://www.thewatermanpub.auburnclient.co.uk/

Nearest place of note is Warwick - and is circa 10 miles form both Solihull and Coventry so easy to get to from most places

I've been to a couple of motorbike owners forum meets there and it nice.  Easy to get to, big car park, big garden, good food etc.

Last weekend in September is 27th & 28th.

I've been to a bike thing there too many years ago.

I'd be up for that and the dates are fine.
