Hi All,
Its been a while since i was on here last, looks like Ive got soooo much to catch up on, as well as posting about my projects.

Anyway, I dont like to try to sell parts via the forum but over the years new expansion tanks have been asked for many many times.

So this year,I finally decided to do it having found a key part that could be used.

Anyway today i collected the first prototype tank minus its add ons and here are some pics of it. You will have to appreciate this is not an exact copy.

You will first see the mounting points are thicker, this is due to the molding process but nothing longer bolts wont cure.

Also due shortly is a second set of under bonnet stickers, which include cambelt tensioner, head bolt and antifreeze.

Regards
Mark

Hi Les, I have worked out costs and I am looking at £92.75 each. This is subject to change though.

Not cheap but where else can you get one!  Undecided  Apparently it's the same expansion tank on the Stratos so maybe you can sell a few at even a higher price  Grin  My second used replacement just started leaking from the centre support again so I'll definitely need one when they are available. I can always be your guinea-pig and test out the prototype as the Trevi is my daily driver (most days...)  Wink

Yup, that's the one, I bought a new one for €28.00

You have to modify the mounting bracket slightly, but that's very easy to do.
