Hey Guys,

what just crossed my mind:
Has anyone ever tried to laser sinter or 3D-print parts?

I need two new gear linkage bushes for my coupe and thought about modelling them in 3D and sintering them at my University.
Any thoughts/experiences?

Cheers,

Chris

The gear linkage bushes have already been remanufactured by Mark Wastnidge, I thought about doing this and starting off with the sunroof plastic sliders.  Nice and simple and can test it out before committing to other hard to replace bits.

Thing is though, I got distracted by emigrating!

The mentioned bushes have to be elastic what is rather hard to obtain in a present 3D printing technology. At least at the moment... Wink
