coil

I want to replace the coil on my 78 beta coupe (it has standard electronic ign and ballast,) have been told i need a special coil, old black one looks the same as all the others but has no markings, I have seen some expensive cambiare coils on e bay £45, are they any good ?

ON my electronic ingition I use a coil from a VW, It has electronic specification and look like the original.

First I have a traditionnal Coil but It was good only 50 km and pass out, witth as symptom not going more than 1200 rpm...

do you need to replace the coil or are you looking to upgrade? if its replace i think i have a working one in the shed.
