L&M International

Unit A1, The Ebor Works
Chapel Lane
High Wycombe
Buckinghamshire

Carl is very passionate about italian cars and took great pleasure in changing the timing belt on my Beta Spyder. They specialise in Italian cars andoffer very reasonable rates. They even provided me with a full health check on my car which highlighted a few areas I had not been aware of. I highly recommend them and they are very friendly and helpful.

I have also had work done at l&M. Great bunch of guys and they offer an excellent service. The standard of work was exemplary and they are very reasonably priced.

Worth adding that I have recently used L&M and found them every bit as good as the others here. They are at the 'new' address which seems pretty secure. All the team did a good job with my car, not just Carl but also Bernardo, Harry & Keith. I will certainly use them again. Howard

It does sound like a few people are based Thames Valley / Chilterns area... I know there is a fixed post for a members map but not had much luck getting it to work.

Hi John

A while since I looked at the map and see it has gone to subscription. I will see what the costs are and then the forum can decide if worthwhile to carry on with it.

I live party in London and partly in a village near Thame in South Oxfordshire.   Both of my Lancias, my classic Fiat and my two classic Italian bikes are located there.

I live in a village roughly half way between Thame and Henley-on-Thames, with my Beta Coupe VX. . Very happy to participate in any Thames Valley / Chilterns initiatives. Howard

No Address specific but I live on the edge of High Wycombe so nearby. Sadly the plague means nothing to be done in the short term.

How about a trip to Gaydon, perhaps early in the new year?

My Montecarlo is in storage until mid April but I could always drive there in something else.

Still building confidence in driving my Lancia any distance as first few trips were "an experience". However is there any particular reason to head to Gaydon bearing in mind we seem to be centred around Thanes Valley / Chilterns?

Also suggest we move this conversation to the "meets" room.

Perhaps the Q Hotel on the edge of Thame? After all we only need a car park coffee and maybe some food.

Maybe Fingest - lovely pub with fine roads in the area.    Or for a faster drive take the swoopy road between Thame and Brill.

So just getting this back on topic, car dropped off at L&M this morning. Fingers crossed they can sort out the lumpy running.
