Where to get the gear?!

Back struts look to be a bit more hardship than the fronts on the spyder with having to remove the soft top to access the mounts, or am I mistaken?

I'm pleased to say you're mistaken! You can access the top mounting screws if you take the fibreglass cover off the rear shelf and leave the hood up. It's a bit fiddly but you can get in there with a 1/4" ratchet and short extension.
