No it's not. Most good motor factors will be able to get you one.

Doing some trawling the internet today came up with some handy links for timing belts: http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=mitsubishi+qtb123&source=web&cd=9&ved=0CG0QFjAI&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.adcoach.co.za%2Fcatalogues%2Fdoc_download%2F26-timing-belts-echlin&ei=IMztTvSyGMrOhAe24IWiCA&usg=AFQjCNE5vrGAfWBGf4tRjJsuOAa2keiH6Qhttp://www.autoraid.ru/catalog/files/DAYCO_Cross_All.xlsInterestingly theres no listing for a 1" wide belt with the same tooth profile and 148 teeth. So if you're ever struggling to find a belt here are the cross references, all for standard 19mm wide belts 2.0 148 Tooth A E AUTOPARTS TB122 BANDO 148ZA19 BOSCH 9144161148 COLMANT CUVELIER 148R190 CONTINENTAL 55LA075 CONTINENTAL 5921 CONTINENTAL 6585921 CONTINENTAL CT652 DAYCO 148S190 F MOGUL TRW 48-17522 FAI AUTOMOTIVE 41148 FIAT 4201738 FIAT 4201739 GATES 5022 GEMINI D8052 GOODYEAR 148LH190 GOODYEAR 2455420 HAVAM VS9101 HUTCHINSON 148AX3/4" HUTCHINSON 41148X3/4" HUTCHINSON 555LA075 KLEBER 1148190 LUCAS KCB115 MITSUBOSHI 148ZA19 MOTAQUIP VTB122 OPTIBELT 41148X3/4" QUINTON HAZELL QTB123 ROULUNDS 148TP190 SEAT GC01201200 SEAT GC01201201 SEAT X042017390 UNIPART GTB1022 UNIROYAL 41148X3/4" 1.8 146 Tooth A E AUTOPARTS TB113 BANDO 146ZA19 BOSCH 1987949030 BOSCH 9144161146 COLMANT CUVELIER 091R190 COLMANT CUVELIER 146R190 CONTINENTAL 547LA075 CONTINENTAL 5918 CONTINENTAL 6565918 CONTINENTAL CT649 DAYCO 146S190 F MOGUL TRW 48-17505 FAI AUTOMOTIVE 41146 FIAT 4164869 FIAT 4182426 GATES 5005 GEMINI D8051 GOODYEAR 146LH190 GOODYEAR 2454620 HAVAM VS9098 HUTCHINSON 146AX3/4" HUTCHINSON 41146X3/4" HUTCHINSON 547LA075 KLEBER 1.146.190 LUCAS KCB104 MITSUBOSHI 146ZA19 MOPROD MTB11 MOTAQUIP VTB105 OPTIBELT 41146X3/4" QUINTON HAZELL QTB110 ROULUNDS 146TP190 SEAT FC01201202 SEAT FC01201203 SEAT X041648690 SEAT X041824260 UNIPART GTB1005 UNIROYAL 41146X3/4" 1.4 144 Tooth A E AUTOPARTS TB112 BANDO 144ZA19 BOSCH 1987949029 BOSCH 9144161144 COLMANT CUVELIER 144R190 CONTINENTAL 2631540075 CONTINENTAL 540LA075 CONTINENTAL 5920 CONTINENTAL 6585920 CONTINENTAL CT651 DAYCO 144S190 F MOGUL TRW 48-17504 FAI AUTOMOTIVE 41144 FIAT 4152329 FIAT 4182415 FIAT 4182425 GATES 5004 GEMINI D8050 GOODYEAR 144LH190 GOODYEAR 2454220 HAVAM VS9095 HUTCHINSON 144AX3/4" HUTCHINSON 41144X3/4" HUTCHINSON 540LA075 KLEBER 1144190 LUCAS KCB103 MOPROD MTB10 MOTAQUIP VTB104 OPTIBELT 41144X3/4" QUINTON HAZELL QTB109 UNIPART GTB1004 UNIROYAL 41144X3/4"

Guy Croft can supply 1 inch wide belts for the twin cams.

The Dayco 94600 belt is for a Volvo S40 and has a rounded tooth form similar to the later Fiats and most other late car manufacturers - this design is better than the "square" early design on the Beta - the belt does not stick in the notches of the pulley as it goes round.
I too have yet to find the mythical 1" belt, and I have contact with a few belt suppliers in my line of work...
Merry Christmas!!!!!

Chaps
Once again no mystery involved just pick up the phone and ring Guy Croft he does not bite unless of course you want to "Slap a Turbo on it Mate". As he is an ex chief engineer from a Turbo engineering business he tends to have no time at all for reckless stupidity. However he will support mere mortals trying their best to get it right and why spend loads of time trying to find something someone far better inforned has already sourced?
Cheers
Eric

Eric,
I'm buying a load of bits and or work from Guy at the moment. In fact I spoke to him today. I could just ask about the belt but where's the fun in that?
Anyway the main point of the post is that I now have just about every reference for the standard belts I'm ever going to need!
