Hi everyone, Im Ben and I bought Pete's 1978 coupe off ebay a few months ago. Progress is slower that I first planned but she runs and stops now and is alot cleaner. Had lots of electrical probs with mice damage and for some reason the side repeater wires were connected to the front headlamp earth points! All the paint is the same just cleaned and polished. It will have to wait till early next year for a respray. Not sure on everybodys thoughts but she is running coilovers and 15 inch ronal turbo wheels. Im planning on her being fairly low as its a third/forth car. And not a daily driver.

I have a few questions and Im hoping you guys can help, if anybody knows the car is it a series 1 or 2. what were the differences?
There seem to be alot of temp/oil gauges in the cluster what one is what?
On the center switch panel with the hazard switch, cig lighter there seems to be one unlabled switch does anybody know what one this could be. as it makes no difference and doesnt seem to work.

Im also after some outer trim pieces, bonnet grilles, a n/s window seal chrome trim that goes the length of the door and the chrome wiper arms im not worried about the blades.

Hi Ben, welcome.

The car is an early series 2 pre facelift. I looked at this car and made Pete an offer ( more than you won it for but he wanted more so I left it and bought a diff S1 1600 )

The bonnet grilles are going to be hard to find, the rest should be a little easier.

I'm pleased the car is in the hands of someone who is putting it back on the road, it's a nice solid car and will look great after a bit of TLC.

I'll post up the dial layout and console buttons later. Can't remember off the top of my head Smiley

That's for your help. It was the extra switch that confused me. Couldn't understand why lancia would fit a switch that didn't do anything.
