Does anyone know the correct pressure rating for the expansion tank cap? I've got conflicting information from internet and Mr Haynes...

Thanks,

couldn't find it in the official manual found this

kuhlerverschluss-uberdruckventil offnungsdruck 0.78 bar
prufdruck zur kuhlerdichtheit                          1.00 bar

in verlag workshop manual but I don't understand German so I'm not sure if it's the right info

just a comment and a personal opinion but on the whole I wouldn't rely too much on haynes better to get hold of a pucka Lancia issued workshop manual plus the latest update of the technical databook that you can find (and the later style short manual if you have an injection car)

Great - I couldn't find that in my UK manual.

Loosly translated - Cap opening pressure 0.78bar, cooling system test pressure 1.00 bar

Thanks,
