Morning All,

Any one that has taken out the dashboard to install a radio? (I have read the topic of Admin dated 30 December 2008 about the dashboard removal)

If anybody can advise on a step by step guide for dummies.

Thanks,

Gerhard

You should not have to remove the dashboard to fit a stereo.

Just take off the ashtray...then you will find one bolt at the end.... take off the cover.

Two at each end, one in the middle and one underneath the glovebox on mine.

The promised feedback.

The ashtray only has two screws holding it at the back. Cover around the lot just clipped out. That was the easy part, we then fitted the radio, but could not get the cover to fit around it. So out came the whole lot, then decide, short of cutting into the back of the plastic cover, to put the radio in the cubby. Yes I know that it's not the best, but then it is working and making music.
