Oil cooler connnections on a VX

Hello, just putting my oil cooler back on the car and I can't remember which way the oil cooler pipes connect onto the oil filter mount (top of the cooler to the bottom connection on the mount etc). Not sure whether it matters but I thought I'd ask if someone can let me know. Ta.

Hi, last weekend i turned over my vx , the hoses were off, and oil came out of the top one, so i think i would connect the top oil cooler hose to the top connection.
