Hi all,

I'm from Australia and I'm officially a 'newbie'.
I own a 1975 1800 Beta coupe, I am currently stripping her down for a full re-spray as the paint is showing signs of age. It was originally brown but was re-sprayed Lancia Blue about 15 years ago (although the interior and engine were left in). I love this car, it was my first car and is still one of the best cars I've ever driven.

So I just wanted to say hello and I'll be sure to keep you updated on my project as it progresses and I may even pick your brains for any tips you might have  Grin

Cheers!

Hi,

Good to have another Aussie Beta fan on board! I am in Jimboomba, so not a million miles away from you. I have a few spares as well if you need anything, have you heard of the Lancia Club QLD?

I too have a 1975 Beta coupe, but it is now a bit of a hybrid as I use it for sprints and hillclimbs etc.

Good luck on the respray and if you need any help just ask, evryone is really friendly on here!

Thanks for the welcoming comments guys!

Yes Ian I have heard of the Lancia Club QLD, I am in fact a member. Although admittedly I have been slack and haven't attended many of the recent events... Will you be attending the AGM on Sunday?
I'm on the Gold Coast so it doesn't take long to get out to where you are, I actually enjoy the drive out that way. I may need a few minor things, I'm finding interior parts such as the clip for the sun visors, the chrome surrounds around the door handles, old armrests etc. are hard to find in good condition.

Matt I've included some pics of my car, more to come as it progresses!  Grin

Cheers!

Lindsay

Hi Lindsay,

Sorry did not go to Lancia QLD AGM as at Mt Cotton hillcimb Sunday. I am entering the Noosa Classic hillcimb on 13/14 November, one of only 3 Lancia's entered!

I may have a sunvisor clip and armrest floating around, will have a look.

Car looks good in pics, still with original grille which is a rare item these days! I had 2 but both broken......
