help please!

my vx is now motd and i am now moving onto the dreaded electric windows.

i have checked both motors and working fine

i have cleaned and greased the worms and arms etc

BUT when connected to the motor the drive gear from the motor drive slips on the worm and does'nt even drive the worm and window bracket and thats without the glass or drag from the window frame.
also there does'nt seem to be a way to check the drive gear as it seems to be a pressed frame.
any ideas cos the last thing i want to do is put them back in and have to do the old traditional thing and help them by pulling them up.

best regards

unless the drive "wheel" is actually damaged the common repair is to
turn the worm/pig tail by 180 degrees as they tend to get a "flat" spot

if that doesn't work I'm pretty sure I can dig out some replacements
(from an HPE)
