Hiya,

New member, first question. Does anyone know the paint name and code for the mid metallic blue on my 1983 HPE? There's a picture attached - its not good quality, but it may help.

The plate on the tailgate is missing. I've had some paint mixed to match a panel, but the match wasn't brilliant, and I don't want it ending up like a patchwork quilt - though I appreciate the paint may have faded in 25 years.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks a lot.

Jon

It looks like someone might have already answered my question, looking through the previous threads (which I probably should have done before posting).

It looks like its just called Metallic Blue / Azzurro Metallizato.

Cheers.

Hi Jon
Welcome to the forum!

Great to hear you have an HPE.

I think you may have identified your paint colour, but just in case please see the attached colour chart that is from the German site www.lanciabeta.de

Cheers
John

ps. Hope to see you and your car at the Auto Italia event at Stanford Hall on August 19th.

Hi,

Thanks - and I'll be there in August. The car is more or less ready for its MOT, and hopefully it will have a bit more paint on by August.

I've got two HPEs. Some people just don't know when to give in Wink

Thanks, Jon
