Hi all
Took the Spyder to a local car meet today and the guy who followed me in noticed a slight dimming on my brake lights in tune with my indicator when I switched that on.
I checked and it is extremely slight.
I suspect a poor earth. Anyone experienced this and found which earth it is likely to be please?
Cheers

Hi Clifford,
This I noticed on Tony's car on Saturday as well.
Yes, it's probably an earth connection but it could be anywhere.

I suggest you first thoroughly clean the 2 earth 'spiders' at each side, removing them as well
to clean the back side, then check all the wires. You may well find that, although the
crimps look ok, one or more are at fault. Fit new connectors and see if that helps.

Also, the light clusters themselves may have faults too.

Clifford,
One point I haven't mentioned: Earths are a common issue, but 12v feeds
are also carrying the same juice and can cause exactly the same issues.
So, check everything!

40 year old wiring is, well, suspect in all cases.
