Hi Peter,

Back in the day the only stuff used was red ATF, so that's what I use.

Present day has, I believe, all sorts of variants, but I don't think
we'd benefit by trying any. The only caveat to this is if seals have been swopped
for new-fangled intolerant materials. ( grump-mode on)

Probably any Dexron II Standard ATF made by someone you have heard of with a reputation to protect.
