  Hi just bought a HPE VX in need of restoration to add to my collection It was bought new in 1984 by the drinks company Chinzano
  does any one any info on this vehicle thanks Norman

Buy Guy Croft's first book. 75w90 gear oil for the front. remove rear cover (4x 10mm nuts) and re-grease rear bearings with LM grade grease. Run the first lots of gear oil to clean up the system and replace it again.
Be aware the rotors are precisely positioned to each other (phased) so only strip the front of the VX if you have the jig MSMR has a jig from Guy Croft's estate.
