Hello I am restoring a Lancia Beta coupe from top to bottom. Body has been completely resprayed and I am in the process of pulling down the motor!

I have owned a Beta coupe since 16 yo. It was my 1st car. I am now 38 and still love the Beta coupe.

They are rare as hens teeth now in Australia.

Thanks for the forum and look forward to a chat with some of you.

I have so many spare parts it's ridiculous if anyone needs anything please give me a shout, maybe we could even trade?

Welcome. You'll find a few fellow Aussies on here. Indeed until the ashes are over they may be the only ones that talk to you..Wink

Any pictures of the project?

Hi Dexitron,

Welcome to the forum! I purchased my Beta HPE when I was 22 (it was a 4yo trade in at Champions - the local Fiat Lancia dealer/importer). I think you must hold the record though as the youngest person to own one at 16! Wink

I read with interest that you have lots of Beta spare parts. That should make you popular on here Cheesy I am looking for a pressed metal rear transverse link replacement> I might PM you to see if you have  a spare one in good condition that you are willing to part with. We have a bent one on my father`s 79 Coupe which needs straightening or replacing.

Would love to see some pics of your Coupe too when you get the chance to post some.

Cheers.

Hi DeXiTron .

So sorry for the above links, haven't worked out how to add images.. .haha!!

So I am currently rebuilding the motor completely. High compression pistons, new valves, seals, bearings, rings, VRS, clutch.. 1800cc with twin side draft Delorto.

Hoping to replace the unreliable Delorto with some nice Weber side drafts (anyone can help??) . My manifold is Guy Croft.

I am also tempted (don't judge me) to add a turbo from a Croma (with EFI) I am not a rev head just like the pulling power of turbo.

I also have about 3 beta's worth of spares, I would prefer an email to a PM though (dexitron@gmail.com)

Thanks folks!
