Sorry for the late reply chaps, been on of those weeks  Huh?

Well looked like our 10th NEC was a great success  Cheesy

I'd like to thank first of all John Bower who secured our display again, and all his help over the whole weekend.
Also Like to thank   Marcus and Connie for bringing their beautiful S2 FL Coupe, Nigel for his gorgeous early S1 1800 Coupe and Eric for bringing his rather rapid Monte.
Sadly Brian was unable to attend in his white HPE, broke down on route with a blown head gasket  Sad and was very disappointed to miss the show  Sad

Big thanks also to everyone who spared their time to help out on the stand, this was very much appreciated, and meant we all had time to look round the show  Smiley
As always we were next to the Lancia Motor Club, and opposite to the Fiat 131 club (first year for them), who were next to the Fiat Motor Club, so Italian's were together Smiley

We met some very interesting people over the 3 days, lots of owners of Beta's who didn't know about us  Smiley and we managed to put more faces to names.
The photo wall was a great central talking point, and fetched lots of nice comments.

Unfortunately the Monte Consortium didn't have a stand this year, but they did come up for the Friday and Saturday night, and as Pete says we had a very entertaining meal on the Saturday in Coventry (you missed a good night Stuart)  Wink

For me the most memorable meal of the weekend was the intimate meal with Eric  Grin we tuned up in his packed hotel restaurant, asked for a table for two  Grin
There was one small table in the corner left, we did get some funny comments from other dinners, thinking we were a couple  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
Eric made sure they know we were car club mates and not staying in the same hotel, what finished the evening off was I didn't fancy a desert, when the waitress bought out Eric's and put it in the middle of the table with two spoons and every one on the next table started to smerk  Cheesy Grin Wink

To say we left for the bar pretty sharpish was a understatement!!
A lot of us stayed in the quality hotel, very clean, nice size room, helpful staff for £33 per night bargin! and only 15 minuets to the NEC, even quicker when I could remember the short cut Smiley

Here is a small selection of photos from the show:   https://www.flickr.com/photos/tonysphotos/sets/72157649003273347/
