Hi. Does anyone know how to remove a stereo from the Spider dash? (81 - X reg 2000). I think it's the factory fitted one. There's a gap in the dash material either side, and there seems to be some bracket parts that you can flex - but they don't really seem to do anything other than to bend slightly and spring back. I'll try and upload a pic tomorrow.

Any advice much appreciated.
Cheers - Justin.

You have to take the centre panel out (that holds the clock etc.).

First thing is to remove the knobs from the radio and the nuts behind them. Then it's some screws under the ashtray I think. Fairly logical once the radio knobs are out of the way from what I remember.

Hi Neil - thanks for the info. I'll give it a go.
I'm hoping that the Clarion service centre will refurb it for me.
