Having an issue with my temp and petrol gauges. This started when I installed a new speedo cable I ended up removing the fuse box to get better access to the fire wall now the 2 gauges no long work though the temp gauge does go sparodically

Any ideas anybody?

Cheers

Not sure if it's a fused circuit (don't think so) but check fuses anyway.
presume you removed the binnacle to change cable so more likely one
of the dash plugs is not located fully (hence intermittent operation)

Cheers. I have checked all fuses no issues. By binnicle I awsume you are talking about the dash clocks and gauge assembly! have had this out a few times found no issues with the plugs or sockets but wil have another look

temp and fuel will share a common positive feed as they are both earth circuits (sensor/sender earths gauge)
once clocks are out check the plastic/copper circuit board for damage, trace the supply back to the plug then
check plug for feed.
