Flywheel pilot bearing

I've been viewing various Youtube videos that deal with clutch replacement, and most (if not all) refer to a pilot bearing that fits inside the flywheel centre. As far as I can make out this isn't a Thing with Betas, is it? I can certainly find no reference to a pilot bearing anywher on this forum. Can anyone enlighten me?

Hi Graham

This applies to RWD Fiat TCs not Beta engines. If you are re-using a Fiat 132 crank then normally you remove the bearing with a slide hammer. You use the hole in the end of the crank where a bearing would be to locate a clutch plate centering tool when fitting the clutch.

Does the Monte crank have one either a bearing or a bush?
