Hi
I'm looking to replace the flexible fuel hoses on my Beta Coupe. Does anybody recommend a good choice of hose that can cope well with modern petrol?

Thanks

The best hose I have come across is Gates 4219BG Barricade Greenshield hose. Very low permeation and certified for almost any type of fuel including gasohol, diesel, ethanol, methanol, sour gas, and biodiesel up to B100. The only problem is getting the stuff over here; I had to personally import the hose using a relative in the USA, as I simply couldn't find a source in the UK. The hose conforms to SAE J30R14 T1 specification, which is way ahead of anything available on this side of the pond.

I found a good manufacturer in Sleaford who supplies mail order. I will try to look them up. All their bills went with YAJ.

I found some Danish-made stuff that's ethanol proof on a motocross site. Will try and dig it out.

Hi All

From what I have read you need to use Rubber hoses which are SAE J30 R6 certified, or you can use PTFE, but they tend to require special connectors which is somewhat more difficult to install.

I bought some Nitrile hoses from these guys via Ebay, but not used it yet, so no comment on how long it will last etc.
