I have a Dedra 2000 Turbo which I'm trying to ressurect.
There are a fer issues of course, including peeling lacquer on an otherwise completely rust and damage-free shell, a missing exhaust section, mis-matched naugahide interior, leaking turbo oil return pipe and most importantly to me, a faulty ABS control module. (Also fitted with five bolt Alfa hubs and 16" alloys)
The other stuff I can sort easily enough but I need the module and it's proving very difficult to find.
They were similar on the Alfa 155 and 1995-1996 GTV but apparently they're the first thing sold off these cars when they're bbroken for spares.
Mine throws up the warning light within 100 metres of setting off and substituting it for a known good one cures the problem so there's no doubt it is the problem.
If anyone has one or knows of one for sale, I'd be grateful.
Bosch part no. is 078 571 00016
Thanks

You could try on Alfaowner or the GTV specialists some of them break and hold parts. I fear you'll have to pay for it though.

The Dedra was a cracking car in its day. I had the 8v NA version with in blue with light blue alcantara and it proved a fast and reliable car. Great to see one being restored.

The ABS on my Thema has never worked properly , I disconnected the module at the abs pump years ago and it has passed the nct  every year . the on;ly thing is that there is no warning light  on the dash , in the Thema if you look close when all the lights are off there is no abs warning . So when the tester is in the car checking he can't see any problem . For now anyway I get away with it . thanks D ;David
