Hello,

Former Spyder owner here. Had a 1600 in red between 1986-1988 in south east England.
Best car I ever owned, certainly not the most reliable as you can imagine!

Had CV boots, new clutch, cable and pedal (it snapped at the weld!), speedo cable and was rear ended, but had the dented bumper and bodywork repaired (not major), couple of tires and practically a new exhaust before I had to sell it. Oh yeah, never, ever have an engine steam cleaned!! Regular tune ups too of course. Would I want another one? Absolutely!!

Hoping to one day have the time, space and money to have another one as a toy. In Canada now, so they aren't too common, though they do occasionally come up on Kijiji and e-bay obviously.

The old girl's plate number was PHM 639R. I don't think it's around anymore, think she may have bitten the dust in the early 90's.
