Can anyone tell me what the original finish and colour of the wheel wells on a pre-facelift spyder should be?
My car is off the road for the winter and I'm intending on rebuilding the front suspension so the wheel wells will be stripped out and I'm wondering what finish was originally applied in this area? Mine presently has schutz all over everything including the struts.
Also, the back inner arches/wheel wells need tidying as there's a mixture of schutz and possibly white primer and I need to refinish these areas and would like to re-apply whatever the original finish was.

Yes, same as main body colour.  On all series of cars.
